it's that time of year again.
are you as excited as i am?

quite frankly, back to school was my most favorite time of year every year that i was growing up.
and now that i have kiddos of my own it's still my favorite time of year.
{well, christmas is my most favorite...}

it's the new clothes and new pencils and new notebook paper and folders and binders and crayons and a pencil box.
do you remember when pencil boxes were actual boxes?? not plastic.

when my mom took me school supply shopping i remember always wanting my favorite character at that time.
it was garfield one year.
strawberry shortcake another year.
and i remember wanting lisa frank supplies one year.

yep, back to school shopping was my fave.

i also remember needing to have my name on everything.
EVERYTHING.

i'm thinking i may have written my name myself...or maybe my mom did it.

now that i'm a mom {of FOUR} i look for as many ways as i possibly can to save time.
