memorial day.

what does memorial day mean to you?



i think every year for the last couple of years i have written a similar post.
i feel the need to remind folks that memorial day is so much more than a day off of work, a postal holiday, an excuse to have a neighborhood bbq, or a weekend for great sales at the mall.

it's a day to remember our american heroes.
a day to remember those who have served in our military.
a day to remember the fallen soldiers...those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
a day to also not forget the families of the fallen soldiers.

if you're out and about today {or tomorrow} and you see a soldier will you stop and tell him or her thank you?
your freedom is largely thanks to them.
