we love, love, love lowe's build and grow clinics.
they are offered twice a month and are FREE!
who doesn't love free?

the kids get to build a something using wood and nails.
what kid doesn't like to hammer?

each child gets an apron and goggles and a kit on their first visit.
{just the kit every visit there after}
once they've finished their project they get a patch for their apron and a certificate of completion.
again, what kid isn't gonna like those goodies?

this past week was a police car.
i knew as soon as i saw that a police car was the project i had to sign my kiddos up!


even though jett was sick he was still hammerin' away!


jake usually finishes rather quickly.
he was already on his stickers before i could get him actually building.


jonah means business.


mckinley was just tap, tap, tappin'...i had to get in there and show those nails who's boss.

{jake asked if they had any of the lockers left over from the last clinic and they did!! the lady was nice enough to let him have it. so he got to build two that day.}

hubs has been deployed for almost a year and i'm just now getting around to taking advantage of the local freebies? what?
it's true. {have you tried toting four rambuncious kiddos into...anywhere lately?}
mckinley is just at the age where she will hold my hand and {sometimes} obey to perfection...the boys are a whole 'nother story.

have you heard of this workshop at your local lowe's home improvement store???
it's called build and grow.
and it's completely free.

at your childs first workshop he/she will get an apron {similar to the one the employees wear}
a kit to build
a completion certificate
a patch to sew onto his/her apron

each workshop you attend after your first your child receives everything except for a new apron.

we went to our first workshop at the beginning of january.
i only took jake and mckinley cause the other two boys were at another fabulous free program offered on post, super saturday.
i knew it was something jake would love.
i had no idea mckinley would love it as much as she did.

the next workshop is january 22. the kit the kiddos will build is a ball toss game.
the first workshop for february is on the 12th. the kit is a valentine's day music box...how neat is that? and free!
my kiddos are already signed up for both.
