Fingerprint Friday

There is a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that says:

I can see the fingerprints of God
When I look at you
I can see the fingerprints of God
And I know its true
You're a masterpiece
That all creation quietly applauds
And you're covered with the fingerprints of God

So look around you and see where YOU can see God's fingerprints.
Is it in nature?
Kids?
Animals?
Where do you see them?

I think I've said before that grandparents are a gift from God.
My grandparents sure were.
Now that I have my own children...and lots of them...
I see how they depend on their grandparents.
They ask for things that Mom and Dad say "no" to.
They get special treats everytime they see them.
The excitement they share when they tell them how well they did on their report cards...and ask "how much is an A worth?"...and know that their will soon be an envelope full of money arriving.
Grandparents are cool like that.

I just love how this photo shows Jett and Poppy having so much fun.
Poppy does NOT like being in pictures...
but, these are the memories we do NOT want to forget!

Such a sweet photo! I have wonderful memories of my grandparents and of my parents being grandparents....and now it's MY turn to be a grandma which is a true delight. You can't imagine the fullness of love in your heart till you experience it. Just amazing.

You've done well capturing a precious moment with someone who doesn't like being photographed. Their expressions and interaction are priceless. That's a keeper!

Love their happy faces! I'll bet this will be a photo that will be cherished by your boy as he grows into an adult and has children of his own.
