{well, at least for the first 15 days. then, i'll be headed home for Christmas}
instead of pulling all of our ornaments out of the loft in the garage,
and risk breaking my hip in the process,
i've decided we'd make all of our tree trimmings this year.
and in red, white, and blue since daddy isn't here.
first up, wreath ornaments.
they're a little big...but the kids are so proud of them!
start with a paper plate and some foam star stickers.
when you've stuck all the stickers you care to stick you're done.
tada!
also makes a great hat...
all that's left is hanging it on the tree.
jett thought it needed to be at the top.
i'm not even going to show you the contraption he concocted to climb up there!
you can also add a ribbon bow at the top like i did here.
one day down, 14 to go.
