Never Miss Another Magical Memory with #ANKERLOVE

Disclaimer: I was compensated by ANKER for this post. However, all opinions are my own.

Never Miss Another Magical Memory

I'm a picture taker. One might say, having 7,893 photos on your camera roll is too many. I say, NO WAY! One can never have too many photos. A mom, especially, can never have too many photos. Add to that being a Disney-loving mom, fugetaboutit!

With my crazy lady, mamarazzi, picture taking self, I tend to often have a low battery. Or, worse yet, a DEAD iPhone.

When I took my kids to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party this month, I knew I didn't want to be parked in front of an electric outlet when my phone was low on battery. I mean, Magic Kingdom does have that fabulous area in front of Rapunzel's Tower, that has multiple USB charging ports; but who wants to be tied down while your family is enjoying the park?

Anker Moments

Enter ANKER. My new ANKER PowerCore+ 13400 allows me to recharge my iPhone when the battery begins to get low. One of my favorite features is, there are TWO charging ports. So, myself AND another member of my family can charge our devices at the same time! That's HUGELY important in a family of seven.

Elena of Avalor

Without my new ANKER portable charger, I would've missed this shot of McKinley and Elena of Avalor.

Frozen Anna and Mae

Without my new ANKER portable charger, I would've missed this shot of Mae and her most favorite princess of all time, Anna.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

These memories, of course, will always be in my memory. But, thanks to ANKER, I have photos. Photos never fade.

ANKER products are available at Walmart and/or Walmart.com. You can find a full line-up of portable chargers, car chargers, home chargers, and more.

Even More Things To Do in Kissimmee, FL {During the Holidays and After}

I was provided accommodations, theme park admission and tickets to local attractions in exchange for my feedback. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Thank you, Experience Kissimmee!

Do you live in Florida? Wanna know one of my most favorite parts of living in Florida? The idea that no matter where in the state one might live, it's only hours to the best tourist attractions. And hey, we can be tourists in our own state!!! Did you know Kissimmee is right in the middle of our grand state? That means that we are all so very close to a whole lot of things to do that are super fun! AND, super yummy!

Market Street Cafe in Kissimmee, FL
You simply must make your way to Market Street Cafe. We went in for breakfast and I enjoyed a Western Omelette, plus mushrooms, topped with hot sauce, with a side of hash browns. Delicious doesn't begin to describe it. I will certainly be going back!

The next stop on our adventures for the day was to U Can Cook in Celebration, FL.

Once there, we met with Lorenzo who told us that we would be making gingerbread houses together.

Anna and Elsa Frozen Dresses at U Can Cook
Anna and Elsa's dresses were displayed in the foyer with our good friend, Olaf.

U Can Cook is such a hidden gem. I kept thinking to myself that it would be a really great break in a busy vacay at the parks. If you're going to be spending 5-7 touring the Disney/Universal Parks, why not take an afternoon and go have some fun in a kitchen, learning some really cool things!

If you live close-by, U Can Cook is the PERFECT location for a birthday party or Girls Night Out! Lorenzo even has some wine and cheese tucked away for you!

Have you ever heard of these two locations? Ever been? Tell me your thoughts. I'd love to hear about your experiences and what your favorite part/food was!

Idina Menzel's Holiday Wishes {an Album Review}

I participated in the Idina Menzel Holiday Wishes album review program as a member of One2One Network. I was provided an album to review, but all opinions are my own.

Today while the kids played and I made my grocery list for the things I needed for Thanksgiving dinner {Procrastinate is my middle name}, I listened to Idina Menzel's newest album, Holiday Wishes. You know her. She's the uber talented gal that sang Let It Go for a small film named Frozen. Maybe you've heard of it? I kid...of course, you've heard of it. It's only the highest grossing animated film of all time! Of. All. Time.

One could say that Idina is Queen Elsa in the flesh. I'll totally be selling this album to my daughter as "Elsa's Christmas Music!" She's going to love the upbeat songs and she'll even recognize When You WIsh Upon A Star. This album is one you can keep on repeat throughout the Holidays!

One of my favorites from Idina Menzel's Holiday Wishes is Baby It's Cold Outside. She and Michael Buble sing a duet. The best part about the video is that it's lip synced by two talented, dancing kids and Idina and Michael sing the song. Watch it and see for yourself.

Have you started listening to Christmas music yet? You can get your own copy of Idina Menzel's Holiday Wishes at Amazon or iTunes today!

About Idina Menzel and Holiday Wishes

Holiday Wishes, a Christmas album recorded by Tony Award-winning singer/actor Idina Menzel, is out now on Warner Bros. Records.

The album was produced by Grammy Award-winner Walter Afanasieff (Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey) and features such classic favorites as “All I Want For Christmas Is You” and “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” as well as Joni Mitchell’s Christmas-themed “River,” one of Menzel’s favorites.

Another highlight is a duet with international superstar Michael BublĂ© on “Baby It’s Cold Outside.” An exclusive Target edition ofHoliday Wishes features two bonus tracks, including “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!”.

Idina’s career has traversed stage, film, television, and music. She was most recently heard as Elsa in Disney’s global box-office smash Frozen, in which she sings the film’s Oscar-winning song “Let It Go.” After her performance of the multi-platinum song at the 86th annual Academy Awards, she made history as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting.

Idina currently stars as Elizabeth in the original Broadway production of If/Then.

I can't wait to hear what YOU think of Idina's newest album!

Halloween 2014

With every passing Halloween my kids get a little more chill with their costumes. This year Jake didn't dress up at all, Jonah wore his football pads and helmet, Jett wore a Zombie Doctor costume that we found at the children's consignment store yesterday, McKinley was Elsa {of course!} and Mabry wore a hand-me-down leopard costume from her cousin. Each year I have high hopes of dressing as a themed family...and maybe when life slows down my dream will come true. {Although, I mentioned to Hubs yesterday that we have just the right amount of people in our family to dress-up as The Seven Dwarfs and his response was, "McKinley has always wanted to be a dwarf." **insert LOTS of sarcasm** So, maybe I'll never have that dream come true, after all.}

I'm kind of okay with Halloween just coming together the way it does. My kids all have fun trick-or-treating for candy, we have family and neighbors over for chili {it's become a tradition} and we sit and enjoy the evening while the kids play. Last night was no exception. It was fun.

Before the sun set I snapped these few photos. My kids and my niece and nephew. All cuties!

Speaking of the Polar Vortex...a Disney's Frozen Review.

Today Hubs and I picked up Princess {McKinley} from preschool and took her to see Disney's Frozen. I have been wanting to see this movie myself. Have you seen the previews with Olaf and the moose, Sven??? I mean really, I HAD to see it!

You remember now, right?

Oh.My.Goodness. this movie SURPASSED my expectations. I was crying in the first five minutes. Maybe it was my postpartum hormones with having now two girls, sisters. {my mind immediately jumped in the future to my two girls loving each other's friendship and company!} Maybe it was just that this movie is too sweet, from the get go, to put into words. It was phenomenal.

I mean, really, try not to fall in love with this cutie! And then the story line...oh, my!

Really, I kept playing in my mind McKinley and Mabry all grown up and loving one another...

{I pretty much yelled "PUDDLE" in the theater when Olaf was singing....you'll see!}

This scene? This song? Seriously...you MUST go see this movie!!

I'm not going to tell you again! GO! Go see this movie! It's amazing!

Even my husband said it's amazing. The soundtrack is right up there with the likings of The Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid. Classic Disney music. Must see. Must hear. GO!

That is all. I can say no more. Just. Go.

Tell me what you think? You've seen it? What did you think?
